Cookridge Camera Club is a section of the Cookridge Village Association which is based in the Village Hall, in Cookridge, on the outskirts of North Leeds. The Camera Club has been in existence for some 50-odd years, and normally meets weekly in the Village Hall on Wednesday evenings at 7.30pm (unless some external event has been organised). However, owing to the current circumstances the Club now “meets” electronically using Zoom instead (same time).
The Club maintains a friendly and supportive arena whereby members can display their work, have it critiqued, take part in competitions, as well as possibly gaining insights from the more experienced photographers who are invariably willing to help and share their expertise. Guest speakers, now available from far afield, are a particular attraction.
Our programme runs from Semptember to July and is filled with a splendid array of entertaining and informative events, many of them arising from members' suggestions.
The cost of joining the Club is currently £25 per year (see our About Us page for how to pay).
If you’re interested in joining, or would like further details, please email firstname.lastname@example.org – new members are always welcome!
